You are free to dispense anything you want through the Yard Feeder so long as it is not petroleum based. You can use mole and vole control, insect repellents, critter control, or any of the other many products available for use in fertigation tanks.

A recurring question is "can we use a powder fertilizer?" Yes you can. However, it has to be water soluble and you need to add water to the tank after putting the fertilizer in so all of the air is removed. Air compresses and we don't want that. It cannot be emphasized enough; salt based fertilizers (N,P&K) will lead to a declination over time of the foliage. Through the continued use of salt based products,you are in essence sterilizing the soil. High quality products that contain carbon such as EnviroYard do cost more; but remember, you get what you pay for.

Dispense what you want, when you want, and at a rate suitable to you. But because you have tremendous latitude with the Yard Feeder we ask you to PLEASE, respect the environment.
